USIC Internet Services offer a range of WiFi solutions that will allow resellers to provide value added services to their clients.

We can supply the hardware and connectivity to allow you to deploy hotspot solutions that will be both reliable and hassle free. Utilising branded hardware and our networking expertise you will be able to offer a range of solutions catering for small coffee shops to massive deployed networks throughout a hotel chain.

Many of the solutions available from other providers fail to deliver a simple and secure solution for their hotspots. USIC Internet Services have developed our own in-house firmware images that allow routers to be deployed in a secure set-up, whilst still allowing the reseller or hotspot owner access to the router to manage other features, such as rate limiting and port forwarding. Our basic solution is a single box deployment for ADSL networks. Simply plug the supplied router into an ADSL enabled line and you will have a hotspot! This is a far cry from the 2 box solutions most WiFi services require because they use an Open Source router firmware that isn't capable of handling ADSL connectivity directly...Check before you commit to one of these inferior services.

The authentication and branding options are handled centrally, so there is no need to modify any deployed hotspots once they have been installed. Each hotspot queries the central authorisation servers and that determines how the hotspot should behave. This could be a totally open hotspot that simple forwards visitors browsers to a selected site before they can carry on browsing (perhaps the hotspot owners website with some special offers?), regardless of their default homepage, the hotspot will redirect all users to the specified page. Alternatively, the user may have to sign-up for an account and pay a one-off fee or sign-up for a subscription. Any possible combination of this is possible, so the system is truly capable of providing the right solution for each scenario.
